About KTPL
With great enthusiasm, M/s Badar Expo Solutions is excited to announce the upcoming Tape Ball Cricket Tournament KTPL under floodlight, uniting various Mohallas in Karachi. This cricket league has garnered support from legendary cricketers like Javed Miandad, as well as other stalwarts such as Sadiq Muhammed, Haroon Rasheed, and Tauseef Ahmed. Our goal is to promote and celebrate the essence of Mohalla Cricket while highlighting the vital role of tape ball cricket, which serves as the initial learning curve for every aspiring cricketer aiming for success on the international arena.
Mission
In line with the vision set forth by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Karachi Tape-Ball Premier League 2022 is strategically designed to elevate the often-overlooked grassroots domain, known as Mohalla cricket. This initiative aims to nurture local talent at the Mohalla level, facilitating:
- Backward Linkage: Identifying emerging talent at schools, streets, and open fields.
- Forward Linkage: Providing a pathway for grooming cricketers at the city, provincial, and national levels.
The KTPL 2023 serves as a pivotal platform for the next generation of cricketers, offering state-of-the-art facilities that naturally foster cricket excellence through active participation.
